Early After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara national park from Arusha, it is well known by its abundance of birds, There are also different varieties of Trees which include Sausage trees, umbrella trees, baobabs and palms, Lake Manyara hosts over 400 species of birds, some example are pink Flamingo, Yellow-Billed storks, heroin and corkscrew, it is a small park with mammals including Zebras, Lions, Baboons, Impala, wildebeest, hippos, elephants and buffaloes, it is the perfect place to rest and tranquility because it guarantees you a relaxing ambience to enjoy, The word Manyara comes from the word “Maa” which is the language of Maasai which is the tree plants used to create hedges, Two-third of the park is alkaline lake, so the place is mostly submerged in alkaline water, if you are adventurous, thrill-seeking and nature-loving person this is heaven for you, Dinner and Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.
Depart lodge after breakfast in our opened roof 4x4wd. We head to the endless plains of the Serengeti, expecting to witness a wide diversity of wildlife found within the park. The Maasai people had been grazing their livestock in the Serengeti which was named “Open plains” when the first European explorer, Austrian Oscar Bauman visited the area in 1892. A morning game drive at Serengeti National Park, all three biggest cats are easily spotted. Lions are everywhere and often found on the kill. Cheetahs are common in the southern eastern Plains. Leopards can often be found lazing in trees along the Seronera River. Herds of Buffalo, a smaller group of elephants, giraffes and thousands upon thousands of Eland, Topi, Kongoni, Impala and Grants gazelle are resident of Serengeti by any time of the year, Later after Lunch you will drive in the direction of Ngorongoro crater, As soon as you have Reached the Edge of the crater, you will have a remarkable view of this impressive natural wonders, Dinner and overnight at Angata Tented Lodge.
After smelling early morning coffee all your senses will be involved and experiencing the thrill of kill to chill of a morning game drive, Estimated 7,000 wildebeest, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland, 3,000 gazelles, 600 hyena, 200-300 elephants, over 60 lions, 30 rhinos, and many others. In all over 25,000 wild creatures call the Ngorongoro Crater home. For friends of the winged ones, look no further. Within this caldera you will find 500 bird species, Ostriches, kori bustards, secretary bird and more other. Visit from November to April and witness the myriad migratory birds that take up residence here. Indigenous tribes are permitted to live in a conservation area and local Masai graze their livestock on the crater floor in harmony with nearby Herds of Buffalo and Wildebeest.
